Yes. All core features — browsing, tracking, exporting, and all view modes — are completely free and always will be. An optional Pro subscription adds cloud sync and premium features for collectors who want them.

Pro adds cloud synchronization so your collection stays in sync across all your devices, plus priority support and early access to upcoming features. You can subscribe monthly or annually from the Pro page.

No. Binder Builder works entirely without an account. Your collection is stored locally in your browser. You only need an account if you want to subscribe to Pro for cloud sync.

Each card can have multiple print variants (Normal, Holo, Reverse Holo, 1st Edition, etc.). You toggle each variant individually to mark it as owned. Your progress is shown with color-coded progress bars for every Pokemon and artist.

Free users' data lives entirely in their browser (localStorage). We never see it and cannot access it. Pro users' data is stored securely in a database with Row Level Security, so only you can access your own collection.

We strongly recommend using the JSON export feature to create regular backups, especially if you're a free user — clearing your browser data will erase your collection.

Yes. You can export your entire collection as a JSON file at any time from the tracking page. This file can be used as a backup or imported later.

Binder Builder automatically generates the correct print variants for each card based on its era and set. This includes Normal, Holo, Reverse Holo, 1st Edition, Shadowless, and Unlimited variants where historically applicable. The variant rules cover every era from Base Set (1999) through the latest Scarlet & Violet expansions.
